There's always an Excuse!

"Okay I am going to eat good tomorrow!" Sound familliar?!?!

I could go on with the words we choose to coach ourselves through the decsions we make on our food choices, but i am sure you all are familiar with the deal making and deal breaking.

Everyday there is an excuse to eat badly. Today is the Superbowl, obviously we can eat bad today and met back up with our lover called "diet" tomorrow. Yesterday it was "I haven't eaten anything all day so i can have this!

See you can only say "tomorrow i will eat better" today, becasue come tomorrow, its today, meaning your going to start tomorrow!!

So As I eat my piece of homemade Pizza and Macaroni and Cheese I challenge myslef and you to start tomorrow for real. Tomorrow is Monday good day to start, a new week, a new beginging.

In keeping with the name of this blog "There's always an excuse". In general as humans we make excuses like its our job. Not for just food, but with our jobs, with our friends, and plans, and with so much more. Is it in our nature to make excuses? Just imagine one day with no excuses.

Regular day for you or I;

Wake up at 8 am, hit snooze, lay in bed for 10 more mintues. How did you talk yourself into doing that? "Its ok i can be late, today"

Get up and go to the bathroom, take a shower, look at your razor. "I can shave tomorrow, I'm not going out tonight."

Get dressed, look in mirror, your pants don't fit right, or they are tighter then last time you wore them. "I am going on a diet, ohhhh but i am meeting the girls today for lunch, oh i will start tomorrow."

As you leave the house look back at the house and see a mess. "I will clean that when i get home."

Get into car drive to work --how many excuses to you make here?

Get back home, sit on couch and say "oh I will clean the house tomorrow"


You know if all of us did everything we said we were going to do "tomorrow". Tomorrow would be some hell of a busy day!!
